Remember to use a wireless mouse with a silent clicker with a fan in the background and you'll be fine. I also smudged the screen with some chap stick so the trash AI can't detect my eyes that well.
Due to Lockdown Browser being so insanely invasive, I purchased an Apple silicon Macbook Ai. I did this back in 2020, and I basically have just been using this laptop as my primary note-taking/school work device. Since I only keep school related documents on this device, I am much more comfortable using the browser.
Apr 9, 2020 · Lockdown is invasive, but up untill this point, it is much less intrusive than the competition who build kernel level drivers to give the rootkits actual hardware access. Lockdown works exclusively by scanning registry entries and has no low level intrusions. I've run these applications in a jailed environment and monitored system calls.

LockDown Browser OEM crashes on Sonoma Public Beta with traceback into some "Rosetta" routines. Could also be that the new M2 Chip interferes with the browser. Reply reply

It just feels so uncomfortable to take tests this way and it makes computers run slowly afterwards or have weird bugs too. Nothing happens automatically. It’s just something for your professor to look at. You can disable the notification student-side but I wouldn’t. Too easy to have the camera no longer looking at you and if you’re off camera for most of the exam, there’s a good chance a professor will make you retake.
Apr 22, 2020 · Respondus lockdown browser froze my Mac. All I can see is a black blank screen. I've tried commands I found on the internet for force quitting apps and restarting the Mac. None of the commands seem to work as the respondus browser seems to block all of this functionality. I have homework deadlines coming up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yesterday I updated to MacOS Sonoma and before Sonoma it was NOT doing this and I could use lockdown browser perfectly fine with no errors ever before. I’ve uninstalled lockdown browser, I’ve restarted the MacBook, I’ve tried doing the same thing on a different user on the mac, all to no avail.
