Nov 9, 2015 · Does LibreOffice have its own library of online images to insert into Writer, etc? I’m thinking of how Microsoft Word, when you go to Insert an image, you can directly choose from an online library of images from Microsoft, so it’s safer than choosing random images from unknown websites, and it’s more convenient. If such a thing doesn’t yet exist in LibreOffice, this would be a perfect opportunity for artists to whip up some images in open source software like GIMP!
Aug 15, 2020 · E.g. my LibreOffice 7.0 Impress Module package on Linux has an installed size of 2.8 MB, while the core package has an installed size of 284,2 MB. Hence you’d safe only 1%, if not installing Impress (and there is, to the best of my knowledge, no such option on Windows and macOS) Hope that helps.
Jun 7, 2019 · Hi, I’m using LibreOffice Online Docker Hub image obtained from Docker Hub. When I tried to insert an image (Menu Insert → Local Image), the image displays for a brief moment but then disappears with only the outline of the image left on the screen. When I save the document, the image is not saved. I’ve tried with Microsoft Word documents (.doc, .docx) as well as LibreOffice Writer documents (.odt). They all fail for image insert. Anyone have this problem as well and have suggestions ...

Then, I visited www.google.com, clicked on an empty spot on the page, and pressed Ctrl+A to select all the content. After that, I pressed Ctrl+V to paste it into LibreOffice Writer. May 5, 2020 · This question was asked a long time ago and Writer evolved since that day. The feature is now implemented. To enable it: Tools>Options, LibreOffice Writer>View. In section Outline Folding, tick Show outline-folding buttons and optionally Include sub levels. If the latter is ticked, folding a level also folds all subordinate levels.

It is possible to use Microsoft Word to convert .pdf to .docx, then import .docx to .odt However, the point of using Libre Office is to avoid having to purchase MS Word.
