Leviathan is a pretty standard post-apocalyptic action series. It sells its interesting setting but the characters are sort of forgettable, even though I'd consider them competently written. It has a beginning and end and tells it's story in good time, which is unique for this medium. It has some memorable moments.
May 15, 2023 · But this manhwa/manga got the god eater ending. It just annoys me that it had the tone and gore to be better. To still win, but to die a hero. Sure it would've had some controversy, but it would have just made this feel complete to me. Not some romance ending, but a heros ending like his own father got. Reply reply.

The apocalyptic steampunk setting and Union Busan reminds me of Attack on Titan. The monster-fighting harpoonists is the Scouts, the “inside” harpoonists is corrupted the Military Police. Bota and Lita is the best brother sister relationship in drawn/animated fictions.
