Jun 17, 2016 · The 3 types of warranties only cover mechanical failure, i.e. Lenovo giving you a faulty screen or hard drive. To cover spills and drops, or anything related to you, get accidental damage. If you're afraid your battery will die on you for any reason, get sealed battery. This is the ONLY thing that covers batteries.

Sep 15, 2020 · Hi all, just got an Ideapad 5 15 today. Office Depot (US) offers a 3-year Square Trade warranty w/ accidental damage coverage for $170. Lenovo offers their 3-year "onsite" support w/ accidental for $123. Which one should I get? Thank you. I hear horror stories about lenovo support.
