Kongju National University started as Kongju Teacher’s College in 1948 and became the only comprehensive university in Chungcheongnam-do in 1991. It is now the 9th largest among national and public universities in Korea (based on the number of freshmen) and has campuses in Gongju, Yesan, Cheonan and Sejong.
Founded in 1991, we aim to contribute to the nation’s development and human society by helping students develop leadership and creativity. As of the 2018 academic year, there are 464 enrolled students across 67 Majors for the master's program and 181 enrolled students across 56 Majors for the doctoral program.
