The Suspension in the New Seltos is definitely much better, and it handles bad roads much better than the Sonet too, The ride quality even with these 18-inch wheels is good, so in the mid variants, with 17-inch wheels, it definitely won't be an issue.

You have 3 engine options – a 113 BHP, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol, a 158 BHP, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 114 BHP, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. You get a 6-speed manual transmission with the 1.5 NA petrol engine with an option of a CVT automatic.

After 2 weeks, Sales person brought home a DCT test drive car: upon driving understood the smoothness of the shifts (much better than AT) but couldn't really test the full power on offer but acceleration was impressive. Performance: The Baleno's 1.2 engine feels a bit peppier than the Seltos's 1.5 NA petrol engine. However, this doesn't pose a significant issue. Lights: Though I haven't had extensive night driving experience, the Seltos's headlights felt somewhat inadequate. Baleno's projectors offer better illumination.
Re: 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Review. Three weeks and 2200 kms update: The 1.5 D AT engine transmission combo is a mile muncher. The car is smooth as butter and overtaking is a breeze, just like our 1.6 D AT Creta (now sold).

Kia is all set to reveal the India-spec Seltos facelift on July 4, 2023. The updated SUV is expected to go on sale by the end of next month.
Oct 12, 2023 · I find the Eco mode useless for me, I first need to adjust to a turbo lag before I can afford to shift early to save fuel. This is easily one of the fastest cars on the road. The car crawls at ~6 kmph as you slot into D. People like me who are new to EPB and autohold may jerk the passengers a few times initially.
Had booked Seltos 22nd May 2022, still no sign of delivery from Uttam Toyota, even the GM Sales was clueless about delivery. Sad part on Toyota's front. Finally happy with Kia, looks badass and feels aggressive. Also, cherry on cake I got 50% discount on all accessories.
