ArkhamGeyser. •• Edited. Gilbert showed he can still hang with the best and wasn't gonna be walked over, and Khamzat showed he has that DOG in him to fight through a War. Both took each other's best Shot, and kept going until the end. Crowd may have soured on Chimaev, and understandably so, but this fight was AWESOME.

Jun 8, 2024 · I've got a feeling Chimaev gets it done, I'm just not sure how. I'll lean towards 3rd round sub. I'm still impressed by the Usman and Burns wins and I'm not sure why everyone has done a 180 on Khamzat just because he had the audacity to not steamroll those guys.
Training insanely hard is not healthy. People training to be at their absolute peak are often also on the verge of being sick. It runs you down. Doesn’t surprise me at all that a guy like Khamzat who is known for training insanely hard even relative to other professional fighters has a tanked immune system.

Alex impressed me with his survival instincts and defense when Jan had him in bad positions, Khamzat loses his strength advantage at MW and hasn't yet shown the GnP and submissions that he did at WW. I think there might be something to the idea that Khamzat isn't as dominant of a grappler at MW, like a significant difference.
Mar 28, 2024 · Honestly the whole "is Khamzat a valid MW contender" debate isn't actually real so who cares lol. The whole thing is a mental gymnastic to help Khamzat haters cope. Khamzat runs through Rob in the first and afterwards people will say that a washed up Rob isn't worth the hype Khamzat has anyway.
Oct 21, 2023 · The only round Usman won was 3 and he was only really active during the last minute of the fight. Everyone here acting like khamzat sucks and didn't just beat one of the greatest fighters of all time at 12-0, and scored multiple takedowns on him. I had khamzat winning 1 and 2.usman winning 3.
