Welcome to Khallikote Unitary University. The Khallikote Unitary University has started functioning from 1st August 2021, vide Govt. letter no. 31432/HE, dtd. 06.08.2021. This more than a century old institution was started as a school in 1856 in Berhampur and became an intermediate College in 1878. Its earlier name was Native College.

Khallikote University was a state university situated in Brahmapur, Odisha. It was founded in 2015 as a cluster university with five constituent colleges, transformed into a unitary university in 2020 and merged with Berhampur University in 2021, thus ceasing operation.
Khallikote Unitary University, formerly known as Khallikote Autonomous College, is a co-educational state university situated in Brahmapur, Odisha on the eastern coast of India. Founded as Union College in 1878, the institution became a university in 2021. [2]
Khallikote University (KUB), Berhampur was established in 2015 by the Government of Odisha and has been recognized by the UGC. The university has 5 constituent colleges affiliated to itself. Looking at the placement record of the KUB, each year 60 – 80% of the students get placed in top companies.
