Internships. The Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) at KAUST offers internships for 3rd and 4th-year bachelor’s and master’s students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
KI Master of Science students studying Biomedicine or Life Science, can take part in a full-time, for-credit research internship at KAUST, under the BESE division. KAUST faculty will host up to three students to participate in VSRP for one academic semester or summer session (4 to 6 months).

Undergraduate and graduate students can come to KAUST in a number of ways. There is an option for a summer experience for local students (SSI) and a 3-6 month research internship for the local and international students (VS).
Internship opportunities are available across our three academic divisions (BESE, CEMSE & PSE), in our 12 research centers, the RISC Lab, SAMA Lab, and Core Labs, and in many of our professional and support departments – including Finance, HR, IT, GBC, HSE, SNA, KAUST Smart, KAUST Innovation, Community Life, and FM.
