Jun 27, 2018 · Jeep Wrangler (JL) has been plagued with all sorts of electronic and electrical problems since the vehicle launched in 2018. The vast majority of problems can be traced to the dual-battery setup: as the auxiliary battery starts to weaken, sometimes as soon as the customer drives the vehicle off the lot, it starts to drain the main battery, causing all sorts of seemingly-unrelated electronic and electrical glitches.

I'd struggle to justify a Rubicon over a Willys. A set of manual disconnects is about $200 and the front locker can always be added aftermarket if you really want.
May 6, 2021 · aldo90731. As stated above, you use lockers only when you absolutely need to. At first, your spinning wheel will tell you when to engage your lockers. Eventually, you will learn to engage them before you lose traction. If you need to make turns, don’t engage the front locker; it will only hinder your ability to turn.

I can't speak from experience, but from a prior thread I seem to remember the consensus being that the Teraflex Performance leveling kit springs are an upgrade even if you are coming from a stock Rubicon or Willys spring.
