Jul 7, 2015 · I am arriving in Jakarta on the 21st of July at 15:40. The plan is to fly directly to Yogyakarta, where we plan on doing a couple of tours. I am fully aware that it is the holidays down there and everyone is travelling and everything is crowded (the reason why I want to order as much as possible already). Not much I can do about that.

Ideally this shouldn't be a problem, however Garuda Indonesia is stating on its website that transit is not permitted for foreigners from 15-25 Jan 2021 due to COVID-19.

Some Blue Bird taxis do have credit card facilities, but always be sure to check before travelling that they are available/working. In general, you do not want to rely on them having such facilities are they are few and far between.

Dec 21, 2021 · If you need to do a check-in at a desk (or even at a transfer desk) at the connection airport, you have to do it before the check-in deadline. Again, this varies a lot, from 15 minutes to well over an hour, but 45-60 minutes for international flights at large airports is common.
Aug 6, 2018 · I used to live in Tung Chung, near the airport, so I have good geographical reference points. There's no way to predict where to sit for the best views. The planes land and take off in either direction, depending on the winds and traffic. It's not like the old days of Kai Tak, where the airport landings were scary and always in the same direction.
Apr 12, 2017 · It is actually done by security rather than the airline in those countries. So, yes, they can do that without telling you ahead of time, but they notify you after the fact. When my luggage was inspected in other countries, there has never been a notice. They sometimes break the lock and replace it with a zip-tie in that case.

According to AirAsia’s customer support (via Bo chat), 'If you book connecting flights separately (under two different booking numbers within AirAsia) or with other airlines, you are not eligible for Fly-Thru.'
