Dec 1, 2016 · Outputting to spreads makes issuu put together 2 spreads (4 pages). That's how it was last I checked. That's why sometimes sizes change from the cover to the content in the book, cause people are uploading spreads and issuu is putting 2 spreads together.

Do a short portfolio/ work samples that hit your size limit, and put a link in the PDF to your full portfolio on Issuu. The first page/ inside cover should be a resume, that's where the link should live. Make sure it is click-able and doesn't get flattened/ un-hyperlinked with the rest of the document.
Aug 2, 2012 · Bump. Seems like M. Arch 1 with no professional design background are extremely rare, which makes me wonder how many of them actually exist or are successful getting into good programs.
Jun 8, 2011 · I am trying to get my portfolio sample to display in landscape format on "Issuu" website. For some reason it displays in portrait and squeezes the landscape into that format. Has anyone had this problem with uploading .pdf's to that site, and if so do you know what I might need to do to correct this?

I am second year architecture student and this is my first real portfolio so I'm a bit apprehensive about uploading it. Dec 22, 2023 · The Delft and Bartlett are far easier to get in, even if your portfolio is lousy as long as you could apply as an international student. Meanwhile Harvard, Columbia and National University of Singapore are far more competitive to be accepted. You need to reorganize your work to the direction of above said universities.
