Oct 13, 2024 · Exosphere PRODINFO blanking and/or the built in DNS blocking in Atmosphere are just as good as Incognito/90DNS and you can go online in any homebrew safely, you just won't be able to go online in any official software (that includes apps like YouTube because they still try to check in with Nintendo servers but there are patches for some official apps that make them work without Nintendo servers)

Oct 13, 2024 · The timing of when prodinfo is blanked potentially matters. With Incognito it's blanked from before boot because the actual NAND was rewritten, with exosphere NAND is untouched and calls have to be intercepted, but this happens only starting from a certain point in the boot process.
Jul 26, 2020 · Even though Incognito creates a backup of your PRODINFO.bin, You must have followed the previous steps and created a NAND backup and prod.keys backup as well. After Incognito is done, power off your Switch, take out the SD card and plug it into your computer. Find backups/PRODINFO.bin file and copy it to your PC and multiple places.

However for some dumb reason since i updated my CFW, i re-installed RCM incognito and launched it and pressend "Incognito emuMMC". I got some errors so i tried a different version and that seemed to work.
