Aug 25, 2010 · The problem with buying on Ebay is the owner can still report the phone lost/stolen after the sale so any IMEI check will show it as clear when you look. I get 1 or 2 calls a week from people that have bought on the 'bay and then days/weeks later find the phone get blacklisted. . .

I have nationwide's flex plus insurance package. their terms mention that the proof of ownership must show the IMEI number, make and model. The iphone I got from John Lewis only mentioned the make and mode, but not the IMEI. Did anyone had the same issue?

Feb 18, 2017 · An Argos receipt cannot show the IMEI number because you pay for the phone and get the receipt before the phone is sent down from the stockroom to the shop. I have bought two phones from Tesco and their receipts don't show the IMEI number either.

Apr 23, 2024 · Sainsburys smart shop random checks. I've been using smart shop for a number of years without problem. Recently, when i go to pay, I've been "randomly" selected for a check. This now happens every other time I go shopping. The store manager says he can't help because it's smartshop that decides who gets selected.
May 6, 2022 · It's not common at all to charge the buyer for this and £60/person is EXTREMELY excessive. To give an example, I use SmartSearch for running KYC/AML/PEP checks on clients and it's widely used across the property industry by brokers, conveyancers and estate agents. It costs me £1.99+VAT per search, that's it.

Call: 03306781033 but just get an answer stating that the call is important to them, I am in a queue, and then 40 seconds later it states there is no-one to answer my call and hangs up. I have also sent 8 emails, again have had no reply apart from the message.
