Jan 21, 2022 · Passed in May 2021. Used IFT for all 3 levels. It covered all the material in the same way it did for L2. I also didn't like MM for the same reasons you listed. I think both cover all of the material but I preferred the structure and style of IFT. Their mocks were decent too.
Jul 26, 2020 · Scored above 90th percentile both times. I am studying fixed income from IFT. He explains very nicely and also covers the curriculum examples. I also went through schweser books after going through the videos and except the additional questions in schweser there is not much difference between the two.
Oct 18, 2020 · Exclusively using IFT Level 1 videos. Level 1 material. I’m a level 1 candidate who’s been using Schweser notes and Qbank as well as EOC exclusively for studying for the February Exam. I’ve feel like a lot of the material is going in one ear and out the other. I finished Quant and I’m currently working through FRA.

May 4, 2022 · IFT are approved prep provider for a reason. I only regret discovering them late last year before my L2 exam in Nov 2021. Most of my friends doing FRM wish that IFT had FRM as they had good experience regarding it whilst doing CFA. They know their stuff.and highly underrated.

I have been using them and following his end of the reading advise and High yield at the end make me confident for CFA L1. IFT nailed Fixed income.

Nov 7, 2020 · MM all the way. I got through level 1 first time using MM exclusively, didn’t even open a CFA book. I then used Schweser for question banks. I got through level2 first time using MM for the vast majority, and I only used the CFA books for blue box and end of chapter questions. I’m going to use MM for level 3 as well.
