This tool calculates the physical characteristics of any oligo sequence, including length, GC content, melting temperature (T m ), molecular weight, extinction coefficient, and optical density.
To determine the extinction coefficient, you can analyze your sequence using IDT's free OligoAnalyzer™ Tool. Results from this analysis will also provide you with nmol/ OD 260 and µg/OD 260 values.

How do I use the OligoAnalyzer™ Tool to check for possible hairpins and dimers formed by my oligo? To do hairpin or dimer analysis, click on the appropriate option to the right of your sequence. For hairpin analysis, you can change the default concentrations provided to match your reaction conditions.
