Aug 7, 2016 · ICAI represents the interests of chartered accountants in India and made detailed representations to CBDT on the implementation of Income Computation and Disclosure Standards (ICDS) under section 145 (2) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. CBDT agreed to defer the applicability of ICDS from Assessment Year 2016-17 to 2017-18 and issued FAQs and amendments to ICDS.
