The turbo-petrol engine with the dual-clutch transmission has had some gearbox overheating issues in the past. Overall, the 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift is a well-rounded SUV with a lot to offer. I am a bit surprised that the engine rpm numbers of the Creta turbo petrol are identical to the arguably somewhat lighter Verna turbo. The Creta DCT cruises at 100 kph with the engine running at 1800 rpm, same as the Verna.
Feb 13, 2024 · Creta's 6-speed AT is tuned to keep the engine rpm above 1500 all the time, the moment it goes below 1500 rpm the gearbox tends to downshift, which results in slightly less FE. For example in the city-. At 35-40 kmph compass can be driven in 4 gear at 1200 rpm, but at this speed, Creta AT will keep the engine in 3rd gear at 1650 RPM.

Re: 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift Review I have booked a Creta SX(O) IVT in Titan Grey color with both Hyundai dealers in the city. The booking was made before the official launch of the car, with both dealers quoting a waiting period of 6 to 8 weeks.

Confused between IVT and DCT but am preferring IVT due to it being more reliable and with better fuel economy compared to DCT.
