Apr 4, 2021 · The username will be admin - the admin user cannot be removed. The password is whatever it was set to at the time of installation - it's unlikely to be the same as your Hik Connect account though.

Using my main email address lets me login to hik-connect, so could it be that I used a different password. On the login by username or email page it says that Login by User Name or Email. I may have logged in by a username rather than email address. I am only guessing this.
May 21, 2024 · If you do not have access to the QR code, you can also use the NVR’s 9-digit serial number to bind it to your account by pressing Add > Add Device Manually > Adding Type: Hik-Connect Domain, and then following steps 3 and 4 in part 3 above. You cannot bind the NVR to multiple Hik-Connect accounts via the above steps.
Feb 26, 2023 · Today I received an alert from my NVR to say that I had an illegal login, I ran a search through the NVR software from 2018 to todays date and the only illegal login luckily was today showing their I.P. address as 83.229.83.81 I searched for this online and it gave me the details of a company named OMC computers and communication otherwise know as Kamatera based in the Netherlands.

Jan 10, 2018 · 1) Hik-connect will still be the easiest way to access on a mobile device even inside your LAN because even though your WiFi connects to your router it actually uses a different range to the wired network that the cameras are using and so you can't just simply enter the IP addresses of the devices and connect, you could always set up port forwarding to access device directly but this is a much more complicated process.
