HeidiSQL has 64 bit downloads, as you can see on the download page. The installer installs the 64bit version on 64bit Windows, and the 32bit version on 32bit Windows. But I thought the 64 bit version does not run anyway on the newer Wine version?
Alan. The export method is not limited, but the underlying grid loads 1000 rows by default. You can press the "Show all" button on the top right to get all of your 20,000 rows: Note that this also has a maximum number of 100,000 rows. You can set both values (step/maximum) in Tools > Preferences > Grid formatting.

I've used HeidiSQL (and MySQLFront!!) for years (in Windows environment) and still using in Linux, despite the problems. ArVie posted 4 years ago. I use version 11.1 (32 bit) in Linux Mint 20. I use CrossOver to run HeidiSQL. Except for the "backspace" issue, it works absolutely fine.
The fact that the update button is grayed out is because HeidiSQL may become unstable if you run a newer build with some older dll files. This is a technical reason, and you should really install a release before continuing to update HeidiSQL through the auto-updater. However, you can still download the builds from the nightly builds section.
