Jul 18, 2023 · Soo, I felt nostalgic and wanted to play vice city and downloaded it from ocea n of ga mes . It had a few instructions to install it including some.exe files which seemed pretty harmless and i installed the game.

Mar 19, 2024 · Great summary, I would say, other than this perceived lack of depth, GTA V just doesn't have the rich vibe of the previous games for me. Vice City, San Andreas and GTA IV all had their own powerful vibe, you could argue that it's easier with the retro setting, but GTA IV had a modern setting as well and it knocked it out of the ballpark.
I actually found that GTA 4 was much better AFTER they shoehorned the launcher in. Might be because they put a newer version in, with the older one I had to change my Social Club password almost every single time in order to play because for some reason it just wouldn't accept my actual password (which I double-checked each time by logging on to the web version just fine).

One is modding of actual assets (putting new car with new model/texture for example) that uses OpenIV, second is native modding (injecting DLL to access internal functions, so let's say, by pressing F1 you can spawn a flying bike).

But recently after reinstalling the game and downgrading to 1.0.7.0, using THIS guide, I have experienced some issues with anti-piracy measures. This is despite me having xlive.dll in the game finals. My friend who has also downgraded his game is experiencing a similar issue.
May 11, 2023 · Well GTA 4 is horribly optimized and RDR2 is quite a new game so it'd make sense why a laptop GPU might be so utilised. If the GPU isn't constantly peaking and you really completely reinstalled windows, then I wouldn't worry, it's probably just the computer.
