Oct 16, 2024 · When I edit videos the segments automatically chosen by GoPro Quik for Mac (version 2.1.0 9050) do not align with hilights added in camera, in fact, these segments are pretty random. Out of 4 highlights only 2 were used. More over, desktop app does not show highlights added via web (when it was possible), or in camera.

Quik for Windows was supposed to be out forever ago. Kind of a bummer when you have 10 days of footage from 3 GoPros from a trip and want to do some highlights and other things native to GoPro. A phone is just not productive when you have a lot of footage and need to organize clips and glue a bunch of things together.

At the time there were plenty of 3rd party video editors available so GoPro decided to discontinue Quik for desktop over 4 years ago. GoPro have since changed their strategy and now realize that desktop software can be leveraged to their advantage. So they do plan to release new desktop software sometime in 2023.

I've uninstalled it, and reinstalled GoPro Quik for Windows and it did not fix this issue. I press F11 to check for full screen, but I was not. The only way to close out of the GoPro Quik app for Windows is to CTRL+Q, or ALT+F4. Please advise how to fix this problem. Translate with GoogleShow OriginalShow Original.
