Apr 15, 2022 · Finished Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum 30 minutes ago and my heart is still racing. Movie Review. LOVED THIS MOVIE. Im relatively new to horror and have been watching the recommended found footage films on here. I enjoyed both REC and V/H/S but outside of the last 15 minutes of REC I was only moderately scared throughout.

It’s a bit of a walk and off a trial that goes past Gonjiam and into the woods. Apparently all the animals died from a disease. The house itself was still completely furnished as if the family had left overnight. But even creepier was the box of unlabeled VHS tapes.

This damn movie is hands down the scariest one and it’s not even close. It just ruined other FF horrors for me - they all feel like child’s play compared to this film. The final 30 minutes….
May 3, 2024 · Gonjiam Haunted Asylum. Movie Review. This is genuinely the scariest movie I've ever seen. The tension is built so expertly, especially in the scene under the bathroom where the camera showed all the ghosts, and of course the first scene in room 402 with the naked body and the buildup with the girl looking away to try a escape.
