On June 15, 2023, Google entered into a definitive agreement with Squarespace, indicating their intent to purchase all domain registrations and related customer accounts from Google Domains.
If your domain doesn't have MX records used by an existing email provider, you might be able to use an MX record to confirm your domain ownership. Note: The setup tool only offers this option if it determines that your domain is eligible for this verification method.
In the line above Registrar Lock, click Email Auth Info to Registrant to send a request to eNom for the domain transfer authorization code. The authorization code is sent to the email address listed on file with eNom. Most likely, it’s the email address you used to sign up for Google Workspace.
Important: If you need help adding the DNS record from your web host, email GoDaddy Support to ask them to make the change for you. In the email, include the record you need to add and your GoDaddy Customer Service PIN, found under Advanced DNS Settings in the Admin console. From the Advanced DNS Settings pane, click Sign in to DNS console.
