ABOUT PM GATI SHAKTI GUJARAT. On the 6th of October 2022, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, unveiled a momentous development—the National Launch of PM Gati Shakti Gujarat. This launch not only symbolizes progress but also signifies a significant stride toward a brighter future for the state of Gujarat.
The Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB) has been set up to facilitate higher flow of funds in the infrastructure sectors, to promote the private sector participation and to ensure co-ordination among various Government agencies in the state.
The scope of PM GatiShakti National Master Plan will encompass the 7 engines for economic transformation, seamless multimodal connectivity and logistics efficiency. It will also include the infrastructure developed by the State Governments, as per the GatiShakti Master Plan.
PM Gati Shakti is a digital platform for integrated planning and coordinated implementation of infrastructure connectivity projects across 16 Ministries. It covers economic zones, multi-modal transport, spatial planning and GIS tools.
