Jul 25, 2022 · I just wonder if the advertising system in Plex can be made less annoying because I’m now at a point that I don’t enjoy watching free movies and shows on Plex. And I actually rather pay you guys 5 or 10 bucks a month. I get that Plex isn’t Amazon or Google, they also offer free movies on Freevee and YouTube but those ads are less annoying. Mar 26, 2024 · I am using Plex HTPC on Windows 11 with Plex Pass. I just noticed that some of the free “Movies & Shows On Plex” section streaming options will not play back. The pre-roll ads will play, but the actual video will just be colored glitchy lines and no audio plays. The seek bar progresses. Sep 17, 2017 · Okay, so I have the following two titles in my movies library: When ripped from their DVDs, they yield two separate parts each of one whole production. Because of this setup, I don’t think Plex knows what to do with the metadata from TheMovieDB.
