May 12, 2022 · Go to options and go to mod options. Search "BetterFolliage" in the bar. Click better folliage and select the edit config button. Click disable the mod. That mod just makes trees look better which slows fps. Other than that just keep chunk updates to 1, maybe put on lazy chunk loading, and turn render distance down.

Apr 4, 2021 · The only things I’ve noticed to stay away from are: Higher speeds (128+) tend to decrease FPS. Having too many moving parts in close proximity tends to decrease FPS and causes lag. Having a lot of items on belts or just sitting in bulk whatever’s can cause lag. Sometimes I’ve noticed reloading chunks can help but not always.
FPS Reducer decreases the amount of resources Minecraft uses when no activity is present, Ksyxis and Fastload both increase the speed at which the world loads when first generating it and opening an already generated one, although Ksyxis is a much better alternativey to Fastload imo, LazyDFU speeds up load times, Lightspeed speeds up load times after the first launch with it installed, Smooth Boot Reloaded makes it so your PC doesn't lag when Minecraft is in the process of opening, and ...
Jun 23, 2020 · You were right, it is FPS Reducer. It has some options for the position of the HUD, but doesn't seem to have a "don't show the HUD" option, so I've removed the mod totally. Appreciate your helpful attitude. There should be an option to disable that HUD. Although this is on 1.12.2, so things may be different on 1.15.
Oct 24, 2023 · Since you said you've installed all the mods, I'm assuming you chose sodium over Optifine. Also, make sure you've allocated more Ram to Minecraft as well. Achievement Optimizer. Better Chunk Loading. Better FPS Distance. Blanket Client Tweaks. c2me. ChunkSending. Cull Less Leaves.
Dec 29, 2020 · I dont really have a powerful computer, i use a 5 year old laptop with an nvidia card, so wanting to play minecraft is kinda hard when i get 10-40 fps on vanilla 1.12.2. but when i discovered optifine, it gave me a huge boost until i started installing lightweight modpacks and the performance became unstable.
what are some good performance increasing/lag reducing mods for 1.12.2? im running like 180 mods on a decent computer that does it but it lags quite a bit. i have optifine, foamfix, phosohor, betterfps, and fpsreducer already, just wondering if theres anything else.
