Nov 7, 2020 · Fintree: I find the tutor taking good effort to make the videos clear concepts, however I am not confident with the upcoming changes to CBT 2021 for CFA exams, the FINTREE online tutoring will be at par with Mark Meldrum’s? IFT: Accessible again by using the existing free subscription, found IFT easy to understand and interpret.
Jan 8, 2024 · Hi Team. I am planning on taking L1 in November 2024. Have gone through videos of a few prep providers on YouTube. Mark Meldrum, FinTree, IFT, etc. And I like FinTree's teaching style compared to MM. Utkarsh Jain from Fintree breaks down concepts in a little more detail and builds the basic understanding of the materials quiet well in my opinion.
Mar 30, 2023 · The Fintree Mock Test and weekly tests are of poor quality. Confusing language and framing issues. The trainer only responds to questions with which he is familiar. There are 60 to 70 participants. Conclusion: if you have read all and completed Blue Box and EOC, then if you join Fintree you are sure to pass.
Aug 24, 2021 · I used Fintree basic pack i.e. videos only for level-2. For level-2; Videos, BB, EOC, Schweser mocks, CFAI mocks and I was 100% prepared except for couple of questions on the exam lol! I’ll put this out though, they are not very good with responding to queries and the schedule is more in line with India…as he records his classroom lectures!
Apr 12, 2022 · MM is the absolute best for L1 and one of the best for L2 and L3. If your English is good and you're good with online coaching go with MM. If not, I've heard fintree is the best in India along with Sanjay Saraf classes. Although if Ashwini Bajaj is providing free L1 I'd say go for it as they're very good as well.
Mar 22, 2021 · Wish I had used MM for L1 and 2. Hey I also used Fintree for L1 along with schewser notes and ift videos. Fintree was good for L1 especially those review session in YT, but I read in this group that Fintree L2 isn't that great as compared to its L1. So I will be going with MM for L2 as everyone is giving great reviews.

Sep 15, 2021 · The formula sheet, the review videos and slides were great too. I continued to use MM for L3 and was the only prep material I used , the continuity helped although I was super nervous abandoning the schweser notes. If VFM matters to you , I think MM is the way to go. I’m going with FinTree for L2 and writing in Aug 2022.

I used him for L3 first attempt (good for L1/2) but unfortunately for L3 I feel like you need to go beyond just knowing the concepts surface level. I would reccomend going to the book itself first and foremost, maybe you can get additional video support ...
