The software ID from the ATO settings under Payroll Settings in STP reporting is different to the software ID when trying to set up the "Prepare BAS or IAS". I am then getting the error: SBR.GEN.AUTH.008. The software ID given to the ATO is the one from Payroll Settings, so the STP reporting is working.

Oct 9, 2024 · Much appreciated. MYOB uses decimal time for hours when you process payroll. So, for half an hour, you should enter 0.50, not 0.30. For example, if an employee works 7 hours and 30 minutes, you would enter it as 7.50 hours. Thank you, that's what I thought, but my employee has questioned me a few times why it's .50 minutes not an hour.
