The Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Christian Medical College, Vellore under the banner of The Association of Clinical Biochemists of India (ACBI) is conducting an External Quality Assessment Scheme (EQAS) since 1978.
This document is a monthly summary report from an external quality assurance scheme run by the Christian Medical College Department of Clinical Biochemistry. It shows the results for Arogya Pathology Laboratory for thyroid hormones and cortisol testing in August 2022.
Details on monthly report and the statistical tools are available on the monthly summary page. Evaluated monthly report is uploaded into the net by 1st Week of the following month. Each laboratory is assigned a lab number and they are requested to secure the password.
CMC EQAS - Regular participation in an external quality assessment scheme (EQAS) is critical for ensuring acceptable laboratory performance facilitating optimal patient care. Participation is on a voluntary basis and is open to all testing laboratories.
The participating laboratories analyze the parameters and report back their results to CMC EQAS, Vellore via website within a stipulated time.
