I'm a huge marvel nerd but I think star wars is absolutely r worded and find myself making fun of star wars nerds. our nerd things aren't nerdy to us. she grew up in a time where the word nerd meant other. you'd never admit to being a nerd. guys who are super into sports can be called nerds. they know all the stats and colleges ect. her nerd stuff is old school goth/punk stuff but to her it's not nerdy, to her it's cool.
