Sep 21, 2022 · Play to have fun, not to be the best. Top 5 Brawlers are Janet Griff Sam Max and Poco. Bottom Brawler is Edgar. Edgar is like El Primo with his health cut in half. He is not good after 500 trophies. (and neither is Primo tbh) Griff is a lot more well-rounded, has wallbreak, range, more damage and a better super.
There is absoluty 0 reasons to hate him. The only thing I assume, why many people hate him is because of the majority of the BS community are children or hate Edgy/Emo Characters (because they think "Look at me I'm so sIgMA and grown up who dont like Edgy/cool Characters, I'm a Lou main". Fourth, a smart Edgar would move back and forth of brawlers with attacks that has many projectiles like Pam and 8-BIT and would be hit by only 2 to 3 of the projectiles. Fifth, Shelly needs band-aid and her super to counter Edgar. Sixth, Jessie, Bea, and Amber could never counter Edgar ...

May 6, 2021 · To kill Edgars, just stay far enough away and try not to be baited out of your super. -As an Edgar, prioritize not charging her super, and if she has it, there are two strategies to try and evade it. -If you can get close using grass, use your super as you get close to try and bait the super out.
yeh brock can do a massive amount of damage quickly with rocket fuel then use a normal attack right after before edgar can reach him. also i assume the other gadget and allow brock to move quickly away and get space. stu the new brawler does a decent job countering him if you use your super correctly.
Feb 4, 2021 · Not even top 10 according to bobby. Edgar is never OP, so many brawlers counter him and people now have better knowledge and experience of that. Edgar is strong and easy to play in showdown, leading to higher trophies one can achieve. Yeah when he doesnt have his gadget then maybe but when he does and with his starpower.

Griff is also annoying, but not as much. Edgar is A tier with hypercharge. Griff is D or low C tier. long range is griff but in this meta edger is better ;) if you have hc ofc. Unironically edgar and if u want him to be good max him out to power 11 and get the hyper charge for 5k and save up coins to upgrade him.
Remove edgar. Not because he's OP or UP because it's not possible to balance him. Take for example, an Edgar jumps to a Colt either you make Edgar win or colt win there's no between. You can't balance a brawler which concept is wait on super, kill. Pfft I could do dis if ah wanded too.
