Dropbox stalls during install Long story short, all of my apps got wiped from my windows 10 PC and I'm reinstalling everything. Dropbox downloads fine, either the regular installer or the offline one, but it gets to "installing Dropbox" and it just stops completely.

The regular install file didn't work so I tried using the full install file (Dropbox 173.4.6706 Offline Installer.x86.exe); when that gave me the message "The installer did not complete. Installation has been aborted" I turned off Microsoft Defender Firewall, which gave me the same "abort" message.
