Why put the "download" folder into the disk cleanup. I have try baseus, getdataback, and recuva. They did recover my data. But cant read at all.

If you're sure that you won't want to uninstall any updates, you can save yourself a serious amount of disk space by running Windows Update Cleanup as part of Disk Cleanup.

However, I forgot that I had one important notepad document saved there, and I can't seem to recover it. I used a few different data recovery software and none of them were able to find it, besides the shortcut (.lnk) to the txt document.

Once done type %temp% and hit enter repeat the same process. and lastly type prefetch and hit enter in the run box , repeat the same process in deleting them to free up space.
