What's the end result of all this pushing and pulling for energy hegemony? Eventually a rising price of oil against a persistently low price for NG.
Mar 18, 2024 · While that negative price is possible, do you have a reference? I only go back to about 2019 on this site's price history chart, and it NEVER went below about $1.50. I can only say that gas can be a nuisance to exploration and development of wells, so much so, THEY SIMPLY BURN IT OFF rather than sell it. It must be cheap! But, it ain't "~free".

The Brent spot price ended July at $81 per barrel, the EIA said, but averaged $85 per barrel for the month.
Oct 8, 2019 · I trade very short term, but if you look at daily chart, oil price and volume has dropped since Sept 15. May rally slightly over next few days, depends on few pieces of news. It's only 52.2 now. Wait a while. Just 24 hours ago it was 54. I'm saying 49 - 50 as it's not oversold yet. Edited October 8, 2019 by Guest
