This cycle (good at day, bad at night) has been consistent since setting up the network. When I'm experiencing network spikes, I don't normally get high ping. Instead, the game I'm playing (Heroes of the Storm) tells me how many network spikes per minute I'm getting, and at peak times it's normally 10-20 per minute. That makes the game unplayable.

If you like watching live sport and can attend regularly it's great value – personally I'll attend cricket, rugby and AFL.
