Mar 29, 2017 · If the conversion to Word is messed up due to the encoding, try copy and paste from the PDF file directly into an empty Word document. That may work. If that doesn't work, another possibility would be, if you are running under Windows with Acrobat, to print to the Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver and create a new PDF file from the old one.

I didn't see a feature for "Print Scaling" in Acrobat, but when I hover in the bottom left corner of the PDF, page size is A4. PS. You can see "scaling" in the first screenshot.

Edit PDF > Tools> Headers and Footers> Add new footer by replacing the existing one/update existing header and footer > save > export to word> verify if the header and footer is retained in word.
