May 23, 2023 · The old widgets like the analogue clock on the Windows Desktop were removed, because there was a security flaw in them, currently there is no clock widget for Windows11, all of them have a window, but the good news is Microsoft are bringing back the Desktop widgets functionality in Windows 11 that existed in previous versions of Windows after listening to user feedback so hopefully soon there will be an analogue clock available for Windows 11.

Apr 5, 2021 · On Google Chrome it works ok when their Photo Screensaver kicks in - the Clock stays visible. But Google have their own built -in clock so it is not necessary ! However, I use Microsoft Edge 95% of the time. Now the clock disappears when the W10 Screensaver kicks in. It did work once for a day, but hasnt since then.
