In the rear most cars you can place the jack on the diff (except the E46). I lift one corner and place the jack stand on the corner beside it (front/rear). Depends on what kind of work you are doing.. if you need more height, then use the differential or engine lift points.

iTrader: (0) OEM Reversing Camera Retrofit. BMW has an official retrofit kit for the 3 and 4 series which includes all the parts minus the control module and bracket. I've checked individual part numbers for the camera and the trunk lid button and they are the same for the 2 and 3 series so I suspect this retrofit kit should work fine with my 2er.

If you have rear cup holders you can access the trunk without taking anything apart. Just release the lever seen in the attached picture and then you can get your hand in to release the backrest as you normally would. Thanks again but no rear cup holders. The 2 series split folding seats are 60/40.
