Re: Bangalore - Wayanad: Route & Accommodation. Drove back from Wayanad to Bengaluru via Mananthavady-Kattikulam-Bavali-HD Kote-Mysuru. Roads inside Kerala are smooth and awesome. Bavali to Udbur checkpost - A distance of about 20kms. Roads are narrow and broken badly for about 16kms from Bavali.

Considering a trip from Bangalore > Ooty > Coorg (via the Wayanad route if weather/rain gods permit) in first/second week of August. Apr 17, 2009 · Route was JP Nagar --> Kanakapura Road. Kaattikulam is a small place with few shops, HD Kottey road joins here, at the T-junction, right is Mananthavady, left is HD Kottey Road. Take HD Kottey road which has got pointers for Kuruva Island. About 1 kms on this road, you will find the right deviation to Kuruva Island.
Planning a road trip from Bangalore to Wayanad next weekend. Starting point is bellandur/sarjapur road area and the destination is Vythiri Resort, Lakkidi P.O, Kalpetta in Wayanad. Since this is my 10-month old daughter's first longish road trip. Thinking of breaking the journey at Mysore both ways.
Nov 8, 2010 · As far as distance/time goes - I guess the route would be KIAL-Hebbal-ORR-Yeshwantpur-Nelamangala-NICE Road-Mysore Road-Mysore and onwards to Wayanad. I'd say 2 hours from the time you start at the airport to Mysore Road, 2 hours to MRR, 1.5 hours to enter Kerala and then the time inside Kerala to get to your destination, and break times.
