Nov 4, 2022 · DIY Battery replacement for 2018 Q3 Quattro? My 2018 Q3 Quattro premium plus died on Sunday. After a jumpstart, it has been working but I am nervous enough to replace it (it is almost 5 years since I purchased the car). The dealer is charging an arm and a leg to replace it (hour and a half of labor!!!).

I talked to Audi and they’re telling me my 2018 Q3 doesn’t support updates except from the dealership. Pretty lame if that’s true.

Oct 20, 2015 · 2) Always On - Controller will cut off power based on the car's battery voltage and timer (whichever comes first). This is to prevent the dashcam draining the car's battery. Basically the controller needs to hook up 2 wires to the fuse box. One for always on, one goes with the ignition. And of course one for ground.
