Profile. Amala Cancer Research Centre Societyis an independent research organization registered in 1984 under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act, 1955 with the aim “to undertake scientific research in the area of cancer and other related branches of medical sciences both basic and applied fields”.
Amala Cancer Research Centre is recognized by University of Calicut and Mahatma Gandhi University for the Ph. D programme. Total 104 students have received Ph. D degree through the Centre during the last 36 years. Presently, the Centre has 9 Scientists and enrolled 14 students for Ph.D degree.
