Feb 17, 2018 · I feel like I'm going in circles here. I've never used the web version of this software and it's unclear whether I am able to import models either via 3d warehouse or downloaded from 3d warehouse. All the available documentation seems to mention I need to use the 'File' menu to make this happen but of course there is no File menu in Sketchup Free.

There is also the Shop version, which has a little more functionality, but the Web version will likely never accept extensions, or be able to be as powerful due to it being browser-based. 1.

Therefore I will typically go to the furniture manufactures website and go to their architectural designer section. There's usually at the very least 3DS models that you can import into sketchup. 3.
