It also shows when and where the respective peak rating was acquired. (This can also be found on wiki.)

Apr 24, 2022 · Well; even today chess players often reach their top Elo-rating at a later age than 24. Even Karpov, back in the day, became world champion in 1975 at 24, but he reached his top rating of 2780 in 1994, at the age of 43.
Why is the chess community dead-set on chess becoming a popular spectator sport? Watch 10 minutes of ESPN - the number of totally useless and overly sensationalized statistics is obnoxious.

Oct 5, 2020 · Per 2700chess.com, Firoujza is now world #20 in classical chess. At 17 he is 5 years younger than the next youngest player on the list, Duda (22). He is also only 2.6 points behind Hikaru Nakamura.
Nov 20, 2021 · Yeah, I used to use the Fide ranking website for a long time, but when I was following Carlsen's meteoric rise back in 2007 or so, I NEEDED a ranking list that updated far more quickly, because Magnus kept winning and winning, and I found a precursor to 2700chess that updated the ranking list after every game.
