I've been using 1337x for years and never had a problem, until today when I tried to download a movie and it sends me to this weird 1337vpn page or something like that. Can't magnet download or direct download the torrent either, seems like it happened overnight does anyone else know ...
There is a posting bot in 1337x chat room, which posts all the links to the chatroom about the torrents that are been uploaded to the site in real time. 2 weeks ago the bot suddenly stopped posting, and the admins decided to fix that.
Feb 11, 2023 · Use 1337x.to, rutracker.org and rarbg.to. RIP rarbg. I didn't really use you since I am not into movies that much, but you were the best. I guess that means 1337x.to and rutracker.org are the only warriors we can access publicly. The best fork of Rarbg I have found is https://rarbg.best/.

Aug 11, 2023 · Short answer: No. Long answer: Always assume no torrent site is safe, there are uploader like Dodi, Fitgirl, and the like that have safe uploads but always ensure that it's their torrent and not some plonker who reuploaded it. I use only qbittorrent for both search and download. just add all the public torrent addons like 1337x, TPB, torrentgalaxy and other. private torrent site addons can be added also, sort out the search as per seeders and you are good to go.
Oct 23, 2022 · Maybe I'm doing something wrong but when I went to go download a movie from 1337x like normal it told me I couldn't download torrents without a VPN. Strange I thought, I was able to download a few days ago no problem. But when I turned on my VPN (PIA) it still wouldn't work, all the links redirect to a blank page.

Temp solution: instead of clicking the magnet or whatever, right click on the page, "view page source", search "magnet", copy the link it shows you, paste it on your torrent program and voilà.
