Apr 26, 2022 · The 2022 XL6 is powered by a 1,462 cc, naturally aspirated K15C DualJet petrol engine that puts out 102 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 137 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. These figures are slightly lower than the outgoing K15B unit (103 BHP & 138 Nm). The K15C Dualjet has a new head, dual injection ports, dual VVT, and revised internals.

I was seriously considering this over the Kia Carens and even booked it. But, at the end, I went for the Kia Carens 7 seater Luxury version for 2L plus over XL6 as somehow I liked it better on most fronts and I wanted the middle row 60:40 split for reasons.

Highway speed - 90 to 110. Occupancy: 80% of the time 3 in the car, 15% of the time 6 in the car, rest 5% 7 or 8 in the car.
May 18, 2022 · When my XL6 was new, it had slight vibrations when the engine was revved, not so in this new car. More on the engine in the dislikes section. Looks good: MPVs aren't supposed to win any beauty contests, but the new XL6 appears attractive. The only thing I didn't like was the huge chrome grille. Everything else is a huge improvement.
Oct 19, 2023 · Looks. While XL6 is no head-turner, it isn’t boring-looking either. The elegant front, sleek sides, and sporty rear come together to deliver a pleasant experience for the eyes. XL6 tries to do a lot of things with different elements all around yet stays away from the boundary of being quirky-looking.
