Jul 23, 2023 · It wasn't. On PC, it was released via the Games for Windows Live system. Keys did not activate on Steam. There is a SINGLE STEAM ACCOUNT that has playthrough videos of the game posted on Steam, but they used the "Other / Unlisted" option to tag the game meaning a community page never existed.

Just finished X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Uncaged Edition. Easily worth the $1.03 (or so, after tax) that I spent on it at GameStop. Unfortunately, this game is currently not on Steam. This is a copy on disc from retail in an actual box, BTW. Like the movie - you're Wolverine and this is his origins story. This is about how Wolverine (of the X-Men) became who and what he is.
That's a great game by the way, I hope you get it working OP. I seem to recall using a retail disc a while back on my Windows 10 rig. As with some older games, you might benefit from downloading an older version of Direct X from microsoft: The game expects to see a certain direct x on your system and it isnt installed on windows 10 by default.

M$ depreciated it long ago. the installer for it the game comes with will be too out of date to run on windows 10. you will have to seek out the newest version. #2.
