Mar 25, 2024 · Bloody awful experience with Windscribe last time there was a deal. VPN simply didn't work. I have other subscriptions, so I know it isn't my computer or connection. Customer service promised to refund my money if they couldn't troubleshoot a solution. When they couldn't figure it out, they then refused to give me my money back.
Apr 13, 2019 · The rt-ac1900p should be okay for 4k with a single vpn connection. There are set up instructions for the Asus routers on the Windscribe website. A cheaper alternative would be to connect a laptop running Windscribe to the tv's video input.

Nov 25, 2023 · For the last maybe 5 years or so I've been able to get the StackSocial deals for Windscribe (every 2-3 years) and they are much better imo. It's $69 USD for 3 years. There are even sometimes coupons to take 15% additionally off the StackSocial deal.
Aug 18, 2024 · Windscribe will probably be on sale again during the Boxing Day. NordVPN had 80% cash back Rakuten for black friday. I renewed another 2 years for $69 USD (~$90 CAD - 80% cashback should be ~$20 CAD for the 2 years). Unfortunately, cashback is only at 20% today. Surfshark is 95% off on rakuten today.

I missed the boat on Windscribe lifetime and got the Keepsolid VPN lifetime instead for $40 about 2 years ago, along with a 3 year Windscribe for $36. At this point, Keepsolid's service is still not comparable to Windscribe, and I even see deals now for their lifetime under $20!
