Nov 5, 2020 · Liquor in West Bengal is set to become cheaper by up to 25 per cent as the state government announced a new excise policy. The price of high-end ‘bottled-in-origin (BIO)’ or imported liquor is now cheaper by 10 to 15 per cent. The new tax slabs also offer proportionate pricing of the Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) bottles.
