Mar 31, 2023 · The European-spec T-Cross has ADAS, so does the made-in-India Virtus (only the export variants), as seen in its Latin NCAP test. It'll take VW at least a year or two to offer ADAS in Indian models, considering their track record.
Virtus 1.0 Topline: I am leaning towards this car since the 1.0 TSI is a turbocharged engine that reportedly offers 12-14 kmpl in the city and 18-21 kmpl on the highway after a run of 3,000 km. Virtus owners, can you confirm these figures?
VW has for sure degraded the quality, I own a polo 2012 1.2 TDI, it still pulls like a charm, the quality is so damn well, the Indian localisation has messed everything up pretty badly, Also be aware that the 1L variant also has multiple issues, so if you notice anything, reach out to the service center ASAP, force them to fix any issue if occurs (my best wishes and prayers to you that it doesn't).
As a virtus owner, i can confirm. I dont generally prefer cross overs or suv's but prefer the ZS EV's design way more than the virtus. Much more premium head lights and tail lights and overall design feels betters, that too at only a few lakhs extra and have a similar looking car at the same price as virtus, Astor.
Jun 15, 2023 · Virtus. It will age better. Somehow VW cars seem to age better generally, take the jetta, passat, tiguan or the vento. I feel like the Rapids i see around from 4-5 years back don’t have the same elegance a similarly aged Vento has.
Feb 15, 2023 · Virtus GT in Red and black colour is a thing of beauty. I remember falling head over heels in love with it when I saw it for the first time when I went to give my polo for servicing at VW. They were prepping the car for launch. Sadly, family said “no sedan, sedan bad” and had to go for SUV. By god, I will buy it one day.
Apr 19, 2023 · Virtus has wireless android auto and apple carplay. I use an android phone and it works flawlessly, with multiple devices saved as well. The infotainment system is VW is snappy and clean, hyundai is similar but it doesnt have the wireless it has the wired apple carplay and android auto. I find it a big hassle to have cables around in the car.
Nov 10, 2022 · The service depts here is very diff from wt ppl experience outside India, which is why we were looking to buy the all new honda city(gr8 after sales service) but the last car we bought was a 2015 city as well n we didn't want the same car again hence we thot of virtus.
Virtus had been in market for a while now and initial niggles seemed to be sorted out by now, so didn't hesitate. Bought accessories pack worth 8k or 11k (don't really remember the amount as I bought it while waiting for my number plate) from the dealer itself which included mud flaps, mobile charger, floor mats, car perfume, rear window shades and couple of cushions.
Aug 1, 2022 · But yesterday I test drove the Volkswagen Virtus Auto AT and I liked it much more than the Amaze. The car felt more responsive. The seats are way better and on Mumbai's potholed roads it's more stable than the Amaze. I was thinking of switching to the Virtus but since I am a fairly new driver I am scared of scratching it since it's a bit too long.
